I went to Kansas City this past weekend to be in one of my closest friend’s wedding. Joel stayed home to care for Audrey. He has never been alone with her for a whole day, needless to say three days. He did such a wonderful job. He took her to the museum, to work with him on Friday, to her ballet lessons, and much much more. The stories were fun to hear; especially when he took her to work and into an ExxonMobil corporate meeting. Every time he got up to speak at his meeting, she would shout, “Daddy, Daddy, help, I’m stuck!!!” Then she also shouted, “I pooh-poohed!” J
It was very relaxing and fun to be at Leslie and Matthew’s wedding and to hang out with friends. But I was very happy to see Audrey and Joel waiting for me at the airport on Sunday and to be home with them again.
